Scryba

Scryba is Medas’ solution for the preservation of electronic documents and diagnostic images. Medas since 2022 is registered at the Marketplace for conservation services Agid, and is already accredited conservator Agid since 2014.

Scryba is a solution available in the cloud and on premises, scalable and modular, which can be integrated with company document systems and in particular equipped with a DICOM engine for the management of diagnostic image studies.

Scryba guarantees the quality and legal value of the preserved documentary assets, in particular through a strong reference to standards (OAIS, Uni SInCRO, PreMIS); a large and configurable set of controls when taking charge; the creation of self-consistent archiving packages, both because they contain the documents and all the information necessary for their understanding, and because they can be consulted with any operating system, even independently of Scryba itself.

Medas also offers organizational, archival and technical support for the drafting of the documents required by the regulations, starting with the Conservation Manual; monitoring the correct functioning of the system; the exhibition of documents, integrity checks of the archives, the rejection of obsolete documents and relations with the supervisory authority.
